Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wanted to sing and dance as a profession. Not many people get to follow their dreams and I don’t take this for granted. It hasn’t come without hard work and perseverance but I’m proud to say I’ve been performing for over 20 years and have had a successful career on stage, before joining the vintage world. I especially love to sing at Vintage Fairs, where I can combine my love for vintage music and vintage fashion.
After graduating with a Musical Theatre BA (Hons) degree from London Studio Centre, I gained a credible acting agent and began my career performing in various shows throughout London and the UK. I then went on to perform as a lead singer and dancer at Brick Lane Music Hall and it was here that I found my passion, singing songs from the golden era.
Having been inspired to create my own 1940s Vintage Girl Band called ‘My Favourite Things’, I began a joint business venture which allowed me to work at many 1940s events and shows and meet some great people. 'My Favourite Things' recorded 2 albums, made various radio appearances and it allowed me to embrace the vintage scene wholly.
I now get to work with some of the countries most talented jazz musicians working as a soloist, and I especially loves working with Big Bands. Performing on many stages in London and around the UK at Theatre's, Festivals, Nightclubs, Fairs & Weddings, I count myself a very lucky girl getting to do what I love.
